Mary Anthony Oak Ridge, TN Team Tennessee Donor Services January 20, 1958 - May 31, 2018 Mary Anthony's Legacy My wife Mary was diagnosed with IPF in 2004 and received a single left lung on July 4th 2014. Mary attended the games in 2016 and had a blast. She passed on May 31st 2018 after 4 years of making memories with me her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her siblings, going on motorcycle rides and going to the beach in Panama City Beach Florida. We were out on the motorcycle four months after transplant and on the beach seven months after. She loved life and talking to other survivors who needed someone to talk to both pre and post transplant. She tried to contact her Donors family to no avail which broke get heart. She is and will be missed by many. Love and prayers to all. Gary Anthony

Mary Dunn Houston Kirkville, NY Team Finger Lakes August 18, 1986 - September 04, 2007 Her Smile Said It All Mary was a very thoughtful and caring person. Always there to help out a friend or give someone a shoulder to cry on. She loved country music, The New York Yankees, and especially her family and friends. She lived life to the fullest. In high school, she began to donate blood and was very proud in doing so. Every time she came home from giving blood, she would walk in the door and say "I saved some lives today!" In the summer of 2007, she married the love of her life, Brandon. She looked like an Angel. Five weeks later after a late dinner out with her husband, they had car trouble on the highway and she was struck by a vehicle trying to avoid theirs. When we got to the hospital, she was declared brain dead. We did not hesitate to donate her organs because she was such a giving person. She saved four lives! We love and miss you, Mary!

Velma Gay Blythe, GA Team Georgia August 02, 1936 - November 18, 2017 A little lady with a big heart Velma Gay was a loving wife, mother, and granny. Short in statue, she made up for it with attitude. She helped raise her siblings, married the love of her life at an early age, had 3 children and was a homemaker. She loved to cook and sew, shoes, and being with her family. She had natural nursing skills and a caring heart. She took care of several relatives and friends making sure they had what they needed to be comfortable during their illnesses. She also loved teaching children and helping them learn to read. She had several chronic illnesses but she didn't give in to them. She lived every day helping others, especially talking with them about Jesus. When her daughter in law had a heart transplant, she let the family her wishes were to be a donor. When she passed away in November, her family remembered and honored her wishes. She was able to be an eye donor. Even in death, she was thinking of helping others.

Kaleb "K-Bob" McLaughlin Pinoeer, OH Team Ohio June 04, 1993 - June 24, 2013 Til we celebrate together again😇 Kaleb had a huge heart! He would do anything for anyone. Kaleb was a hard worker, was active in FFA, loved his family and God. Kaleb had purchased everything he wanted on his own, a Mustang, a motorcycle and a pickup truck, he was loving life! Kaleb was killed 20 days after his 20th birthday. We are so thankful that he had made the bittersweet choice to be a registered organ donor!!💙💚💝 Kaleb may be gone from us, but he lives on through others!

Esther Elizabeth Daw Chesnee, SC Team South Carolina June 02, 1998 - February 11, 2017 Daughter, Sister, Mother & Friend! From the start of her beautiful life...those eyes! Full of life...hope...love. She had a gorgeous smile. She could go from 0-60 in just a split second...then reality of the harshness of living in the real world. She so wanted to adventure & to assist any critter that needed help....a true Ellie Mae Clampett! We'd have to stop to rescue turtles crossing the road at a moment's notice! :-) She was only 18 when the accident occurred...gone too soon...with a 4 1/2 month old baby girl. She left us a wonderful gift in Mila Grace...the privilege of raising her has taken the edge off, as well as knowing her life gave 3 other families the miracle that had been praying for! We'll look for you in all the beautiful corners of God's Creation sweet girl! You are missed!

Bradley Wenneberg Chandler, AZ August 08, 1995 - June 17, 2015 Forever Young My donor was only 20 years old, I've never met his family they happen to live in Utah. The family are my hero's, they gave me the gift of life when Bradley could no longer sustain life. The family made the decision to give others the gift of life and on June 17, 2015 I received a double lung transplant from Bradley. Bradley is his name, but he went by the name Vegas. He was in love with Harley motorcycles and could drive a semi by the age of 13. He would of gave the shirt off his back to anyone. He had just turned 20 may 8 . Forever Young is our motto but at his funeral we played Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa "Till We See You Again." His four year old sister who will never really remember him, called him Bubby. They were attached at the hip. He was so proud of his little sister but she always wants to hear that song and sends him balloons often. She was just about to turn 3 when all this happened.

Terri Appleman Canal Fulton, OH Team Ohio March 25, 1952 - April 22, 2010 Terri Saved Me! Terri gave me the Gift of Life. On April 24th, 2010 a liver from this hero gave me a second chance at life. I am forever grateful to Terri and her wonderful family.

Blair Michaela Shanahan Lane Independence, MO Team MO-KAN January 24, 2000 - July 05, 2011 Your legacy of love lives in the hearts of so many. You are forever loved and missed. We will see you soon. Blair donated 6 organs giving the Gift of Life to 5 She was working on a project at 11 for her 11th and 12th grade of high school that is no w 501c3 She named her project the Wednesday before she was tragically taken. Collin Conedy Las Vegas, NV Team Nevada November 22, 1984 - December 03, 2017 COLLIN'S HOPE It is "Collin's Hope" that everyone registers to be an organ, eye and tissue donor, and that someday a cure is found for the hereditary heart defect that has taken the lives of five male members of our family. Because Collin was a registered organ donor two people received the gift of sight and many other lives have been enhanced from his bone, tissue, ligament and tendon donation. Collin was the youngest child of four siblings. He was a loving husband and father to my two beautiful grandchildren, ages six and ten. Collin was a fun loving young man that loved and lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed the great outdoors; hiking and camping with family and friends. His favorite quote was, "Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who wants you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile & who LOVE YOU no matter what". As Collin's father and 9 year Heart Transplant Survivor, I have experienced being a heart recipient, caregiver and Donor Dad. I have lost my Dad, two Brothers, a Nephew and now my Son to this dreaded cardiomyopathy heart disease, and it is my prayer Collin's Hope is realized in my lifetime so that my Grandson will be able to live a Long, Health and Happy Life! 🙏🏾

Jacob Campbell Horseheads, NY Team Finger Lakes May 25, 2007 - August 16, 2007 Our Little Star Jake's beautiful smile charmed all those who met him. He especially loved to gaze at his dad, his mom, and, especially, his big brother. Jake passed unexpectedly at two and a half months, but his legacy lives on through his recipients: two cornea recipients, and a heart recipient who we are lucky enough to consider family. This beautiful boy of ours, with his bright blue, twinkling eyes, truly changed our lives "for good."
