Daniel Glover Bergenfield, NJ Team Liberty March 27, 1987 - January 30, 2012 Donors for Danny On January 21, 2012, while on the way to his Ursinus College wrestling teammate and fellow alum Jordan's funeral, Daniel, was in a severe motor vehicle accident, He sustained severe brain trauma and died nine days later on Jan.30. His Little League coach Ed, who we had known since Danny was four was in desperate need of a liver. Danny's was a perfect match. A miracle. I am a bone marrow transplant recipient myself, so my family understands how amazing this was. His other organs, tissue and eyes were also recovered. Danny loved to live life. His college adviser said he knew the intrinsic values of life, to spend time with those you love and to enjoy the beauty around you , time goes fast. He was willing to help others and did so by, being an organ and tissue donor giving The Gift Of Life.

Kris Haywood Columbus, MS Team Mississippi January 17, 1993 - September 17, 2010 THE BLESSED AND PROUD PARENTS OF A KIND SOUL OUR PRECIOUS “ANGEL KRIS” Ever since Kristopher was a small child, we saw in him the gentleness, kindness, and love in his heart. Regardless of color or religion of any person for he never met a stranger, that he wouldn’t talk their ear off. He became liked and loved by many everywhere he lived and worked. Living on his own for ten years after high school graduation and some college coursework, he took a break from college for a while. Kris had a love for the elderly, loved people in general, loved saving helpless and hurt animals, recusing them and bringing them home. We had 11 rescue animals in our backyard for many years. They kept coming till the time Kris went to be with his “Lord and Savior Jesus.” I knew from a young age Kris’ heart was a good and spiritually kind one! As he became a man, he was always dreaming of seeing the world, meeting new and exciting people and the great beauties of the world. But in his short-lived life of 28 years young; “Sweet Jesus” called him home to where his dreams of love and great beauties were all around him. So much more of what he could have ever dreamed of seeing he found! But before his death, he moved back home to finish his last year of college to become a social worker for he wanted to help people. But he never got to see his dream of being a social worker, for “Jesus” had a greater plan and purpose for his life and gained a precious soul. In his passing his life to be with “Jesus” he led his last act of love and kindness of being an organ donor to 5 strangers, he was never to know. But I believe from heaven he sees the wonderful, loving, kind and funny lady that had to be handpicked by God, Himself! For she is the one that Kristopher would have loved as his parents love her. The beautiful lady with his good and kind “Heart” beating inside of her; she has blessed us so. We love her dearly, and she is a part of our family forever more. Sandra Rowles Ridgeway, MO Team MO-KAN May 27, 1938 - April 09, 1999 A Guardian Angel My mom, was a wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, she was one of the most loving and caring people around. My parents were married for 41 years before her death in April 1999. They had 4 daughters, and 1 son, and many Grandchildren. She loved to crochet and do crafts.Upon her death she Donated her eyes giving sight to 2 people, and she was also able to donate tissue. Mom, you are a Hero, as with all Donors. Rudy Molnar Pittsburgh, PA Team Alleghenies June 28, 1938 - October 30, 2017 An inspiration in life and a HERO now. Rudy was a two time heart recipient. November, 1989 and February,.2005. He was a small business owner of Rudy Molnar’s Service Center for 54 years. Former President and Vice President of Pennsylvania and Delaware Service Station Dealers Association. 52 year member of the Shriners, Masons and past Master of Lodge 739. After he received his Gift of Life he was very active and proud advocate, volunteer and motivational speaker for Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE) since 1990. Former member of their Board of Directors, Treasurer and was an active member of the Advisory Board. Active Board member and past Treasurer of Transplant Recipients International Organization (TRIO) Pittsburgh Chapter. One of Rudy’s most astonishing accomplishment was going to the Richard Petty Driving Experience in Charlotte, NC at Lowe’s Speedway and driving a NASCAR at 148 mph 2 years after his 2nd transplant. One of his very close friends who he had helped and supported through her heart transplant journey said; “Rudy has taught so many of us how to live as a transplant recipient and he taught us now how to die with dignity.” His last wish was to be able to help others in his passing and was an organ donor.

Soon-Ae Jeon Pyle Dallas, GA Team Virginia June 22 2013, - April 19, 2018 A Superhero Soon-Ae was a pre-k student at Discovery Point, and set to start kindergarten at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School in the fall. She loved all her family and touched the lives of everyone she met with her bright smile and loving spirit. Soon-Ae wanted to be a superhero when she grew up. An Angel wrote in the book of life my baby's date of birth, then whispered as she closed the book, "Too beautiful for earth."

Michael Nolan Yonkers, NY Team LiveOnNY May 26, 1992 - October 09, 2015 Michael's Memory Michael Nolan is my younger brother and best friend. Michael accomplished in 23 years that some couldn’t in a lifetime by being drafted into the MLB in 2014 by the Oakland Athletics. Michael was an amazing person that loved life, live to have fun, smart, hard working, and had so many more great attributes. Michael is not only my hero but a hero to many other because he saved six peoples lives by donating his organs. Michael’s Story was all across the county and overseas because he is the innocent Oakland Athletics baseball player that was killed in a drive by shooting in Yonkers 2015. Michael just wasn’t a great friend, an amazing brother, outstanding son, but he was a person you would come across once in a lifetime. Michael is missed remarkably by many and his legacy will forever live on!

Zachary Flowers Zeeland, MI Team Ohio July 21, 1987 - October 17, 2005 Living for him and because of him! Loved and remembered by all. I never had the chance to meet Zachary, but was fortunate to live on through his donation. Getting to know my donor family has been such a blessing and has given me an idea of how silly, fun loving, and kind Zachary was. Even in death, he gave the ultimate, selfless gift and that says more than I ever could about what an amazing person Zachary Flowers was.

Michael McGuire Marine City, MI Team Oklahoma February 22, 1988 - April 08, 2013 Our Angel Michael was a smart, loving, funny young man who loved his family more than anything. He was a huge Detroit Lions fan. If there was a game on, you would find him, Bud Lite in hand, cheering on his team. Michael's favorite time of the year was Christmas. It didn't matter how old he was, at Christmas time, Michael was a little kid begging to be able to open "just one present". The loss of Michael was like having a bright light go out. He will be forever missed and forever loved.

Jacob Wheeler Broadhead, WI November 24, 1980 - February 12, 2020 ROCK ON He graduated from Polo High School in 1999, where he participated in track, football, and wrestling. He was the lead singer in axiom and Mr. Fist in the Madison, WI area. He was an avid Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed fishing and golf. Most of all Jakob was a devoted father, son, brother, and family man.

Amber Leigh Kaufmann Scott City, MO Team Transplant St. Louis July 08, 1991 - April 07, 2008 Our Angel Amber Amber was a perfectly healthy 16 year old girl who collapsed on her way into work, with a seizure. Then her heart stopped. Amber played volleyball, track, bowled and loved hanging out with her boyfriend, family and friends. She was upbeat, fun and truly enjoyed and loved life. She was the last in the nest; She looked forward to either going to college or joining the military like her older brother and sister. She didn't know a stranger, could burp louder than anyone I know! I am still amazed at how many people she touched in her short life. She is missed so much every day. She would be happy knowing she had helped others lives by donating her organs. I never talked to her about organ donation because who really believes that you are ever going to lose your child? When we came home from Children's Hospital in St. Louis after she had passed, there was a Donate Life bracelet in her ponytail holder jar. I believe in signs, I've had so many from her.

Ty Bray Cave Springs, GA Team Georgia July 08, 1974 - August 02, 2002 A giving heart keeps on giving... At 28 years of age, Ty became a hero- an organ, tissue, and eye donor to many recipients, saving and enhancing lives. I was one of those honored recipients - I was gifted his heart. Ty was an exceptional artist whose artistic eye could see what others wouldn't notice. The son of Jean and Larry Bray, Ty was the youngest of his 7 siblings. His daughter Sheila was only 2 when he passed away. His smile was contagious and his fun loving personality brightened the days. I met his family 5 years after my transplant and how blessed I am to call them friends. He is loved, missed, and thought about every day.
