Sandy Pekrul was a very loving person.  She loved her husband, her spiritual awareness, singing in the choir, outdoor activities such as taking the dogs for a walk or playing on her church's softball team, and most of all, her children, Adam and Angela.  She was truly a woman full of life. 

Sandy's family made the decision for her to be an organ donor at the time of her passing, and because of that decision, I received a kidney transplant and my life was forever changed.  I honor her life and legacy every day and hope that through her gift, I can make a difference in the lives of others just as I believe that she did during her time on earth.  She will always be an angel on my shoulder, and I will be forever grateful.
