As the world continues its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, Transplant Life Foundation is committed to doing our part to support the transplant community. We are proud to share that we have partnered with a number of our fellow transplant advocacy non-profit organizations to develop a resource hub to help transplant recipients, donor families, living donors, future recipients, and caregivers navigate life in a COVID-19 world.

 

As part of the development of this hub, we surveyed over 1,200 community members from across the nation and uncovered the following insights: 

 

• 87% of respondents felt it was important to be in touch with other members of the transplant community.

• 77% of survey-takers want comprehensive FAQ related to COVID-19 and the transplant community.

• 40% respondents in the survey indicated they were extremely concerned regarding their health and the COVID-19 virus.

 

Out of the clear and pressing need for support, connection, and dissemination of scientifically sound information we launched the ultimate COVID-19 Transplant Resource (www.covid19transplantresource.org), compiling valuable information across the following topics:

 

• FAQs & General Information

• Financial Support & Access

• Mental Health

• Navigating a “New Normal”

• Hope on the Horizon

It is our intent to ensure that this resource is informative, timely, and dynamic and meets the most urgent needs of the community we serve.
