Christopher Spitzer Merrimac, WI Team Wisconsin March 02, 1972 - August 16, 2016 Forever A Hero! "What can I do to help you?", Chris would ask you. "I was a 44 year old supportive husband and loving father of 2 beautiful little girls. I became passionate for organ donation a long time ago when I learned of my best friend being a living donor to his sister. I then became an advocate for several years after supporting my wife during many tragic losses. Two years ago, I went to the Transplant Games of America to honor and celebrate the life of my wife's mother. Not long after the games, I kissed my wife goodbye and went to work. Suddenly I collapsed from a heart attack and was unable to be resuscitated. Now I leave behind my family legacies and my donor legacies." As a proud wife, I can honestly thank him for teaching me to live each day as it is my last and to help the ones I can!

Kaleb "K-Bob" McLaughlin Pinoeer, OH Team Ohio June 04, 1993 - June 24, 2013 Til we celebrate together again😇 Kaleb had a huge heart! He would do anything for anyone. Kaleb was a hard worker, was active in FFA, loved his family and God. Kaleb had purchased everything he wanted on his own, a Mustang, a motorcycle and a pickup truck, he was loving life! Kaleb was killed 20 days after his 20th birthday. We are so thankful that he had made the bittersweet choice to be a registered organ donor!!💙💚💝 Kaleb may be gone from us, but he lives on through others!

Evan Kimball West Branch, MI Team Michigan June 24, 1997 - October 12, 2015 Our youngest son, Evan James Kimball An actor, an athlete, an animal lover, a comedian, a little league coach, a three sport official, a loving son, an unfailing brother, a reliable friend, a devoted boyfriend, a 2015 Ogemaw Heights graduate, a college baseball player, and a life saving organ donor. Evan lived his life actively pursuing a variety of interests that matched his charismatic personality and genuine smile! Evan was a role model with a tremendous work ethic, a kind heart, a happy disposition, and generous spirit. We miss his beautiful blue eyes, funny impressions, quick whit, and contagious energy everyday. And those phenomenal bear hugs! We love you, Evan!

Dylan Flew Norwalk, OH Team Ohio August 09, 1985 - July 31, 2006 Dylan Saved 5 Lives! Our son Dylan became an organ and tissue donor in July of 2006, saving five lives and enhancing the lives of almost 80 others!! He lived his life with NO REGRETS, his life motto! Never forgotten, our true hero!!

Kenneth Sapp Auburn, NY Team Finger Lakes March 17, 1986 - January 25, 2004 A Life Full of Love Several months after Kenneth William Sapp was born, his parents were told that he had hypotonic quadraparesis and that he would never walk, talk or do anything a “normal” child could do. But he was a beautiful boy with eyes that were a window to his beautiful soul. He loved life and all who entered into his. Kenneth loved any and all animals. Over the years, he had many: guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils, snakes and mice. But his best buddy was his greyhound, JD, who was known to stand over and protect Kenneth while he was lying on the floor playing. Kenneth also loved listening to music, whether it was at church or watching his videos. His favorite movie was “The Little Mermaid,” and Ariel was his favorite girl. Through the Children’s Wish Foundation (now New Hope for Kids) and Give Kids the World, (for which he appeared in a print ad and TV commercial), Kenneth visited Walt Disney World annually. Our family moved to New York from Florida in 2003 to be closer to family. We enjoyed our first Christmas with our NY relatives. Then, on Jan. 25, 2004, 17 year-old Kenneth passed away from meningitis and became an organ donor. After his death, we were introduced to the Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network. I found support for my grief and began helping with fundraisers and activities with other donor families. We are now involved with The Donor Family Network in Central New York and our family looks forward to attending our 8th U.S. Transplant Games in 2018.
