Peaceful in the Mountains

Our brother Anthony became our dad at the age of 14 when our father died. When our mom passed away, he became our parent. He made sacrifices, never complained, and was always present for all 5 of his younger siblings. He called us his pride and joy.

Tony was a quiet and humble man, never taking credit for raising us. As we got older, Tony became a fur-dad to Pacquiao, Bella (who has recently passed), Lani, and JR (who preceded him in death a week before his passing).

He loved the outdoors. He was an avid hiker, a hunter with Slaughta House, and snowboarding was his passion. His quote was "Peaceful in the Mountains". That is where his heaven was on earth.

He was Coach Tony to Waipahu Boxing Club, Kalakaua Gym, and other individual children who reached out to ask if he would be able to coach them in boxing. He loved running. He participated in (4) Great Aloha Runs and (10) Honolulu Marathons. He passed away before he could complete his 11th, which his 5 siblings completed for him.

He is and will always be remembered as an incredible man who gave and never asked anything in return. A quiet, humble man, but his actions spoke volumes. To know him was to love him; to be loved by him was a blessing.
